Utility Payment Options


Eight payment options are available for customer convenience:  

 

Pay by Direct Debit Return to top

The Direct Debit service is free, convenient and dependable.  Automatically pay your monthly utility account by charging directly to your checking or savings account. Save time and money with no checks and no postage. Your payment will always arrive on time.

To sign up for Direct Debit, complete and return the Direct Debit Form with a voided check when you pay your next billing. 

If you already use Direct Debit, change your banking information by completing and returning the Direct Debit Form with a voided check from your new account.

Pay Online if you already have an Online Account -
Please login and click "Pay My Bill". There are no convenience fees to pay online with your credit/debit card or eCheck.  Your online payment will be posted to your utility account by the next business day.

Pay Online If you wish to register a new Online Account - 
Please reference your account number and mailing zip code as it appears on your bill when you are creating your online account. There are no convenience fees to pay online with your credit/debit card or eCheck.  Your online payment will be posted to your utility account by the next business day.

The City of Olathe uses Paymentus to process your online payments.

If your water service has been disconnected or is scheduled to be disconnected for non-payment -
You must contact our Customer Service Division at 913-971-9311 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the confirmation number you receive from Paymentus to have the service restored. 

To have your water service restored after City regular business hours -
Please call 913-971-5151 and provide your payment confirmation number from Paymentus.

 

Pay By Telephone Return to top

Call our toll-free number at 1-855-748-6017 to make a payment by phone - you will need your City of Olathe account number. We accept payments using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and eCheck. No convenience fees apply.

If your water service has been disconnected or is scheduled to be disconnected for non-payment -
You must contact our Customer Service Division at 913-971-9311 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the confirmation number you receive from Paymentus to have the service restored.

To have your water service restored after City regular business hours -
Please call 913-971-5151 and provide your payment confirmation number from Paymentus.

 

Pay by US Mail Return to top

Mail the lower portion of your bill along with a check or money order in the envelope provided. Please write your account number on your check or money order and allow five business days for mail delivery. Bills are considered paid on the day they are received in our office and processed, not the day they are mailed. Payments should be mailed to:

A customer service representative is available to accept payment for your utility bill at the Olathe Public Works and Customer Service Center located at 1385 S. Robinson Dr. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. We accept cash, check, money order, credit/debit cards and eChecks.

Collection Drop-Off Site Return to top

Customers can drop off their payment for monthly utility account charges at the drop box located behind Olathe City Hall at 100 E Santa Fe. Payments are picked up once each business day by 8 a.m. Payments can also be made at Enterprise Bank & Trust and Bank of Blue Valley branches in Olathe. Payments made at one of the banks listed above must accompany the lower portion of your utility bill. Please allow two days for processing.

The night depository is located at the drive-through located at the Olathe Public Works and Customer Service Center at 1385 S. Robinson Dr. Envelopes are provided for your convenience.
