The City of Olathe will open its pool season Saturday, May 24 at 12:30 p.m. Black Bob Bay, Frontier Trail and Oregon Trail will operate daily from 12:30 - 8:00 p.m. Mill Creek Pool is open Monday – Friday from 12:30 – 5:00 p.m. and 12:30 – 7:00 pm. Saturday and Sunday.

The City of Olathe Housing Authority will open the waiting list for housing assistance both online and at the office at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 1. The waiting list allows Olathe citizens consideration for housing assistance on a first-come, first-served basis.
Beginning Monday, April 28, the Kansas Department of Transportation will begin a pavement replacement project on 169/K-7 over I-35 between the northbound and southbound interchange exit ramps in Olathe. This project will require the closure of northbound and southbound K-7/169 exit ramps through mid-July, weather permitting. A marked detour will be provided, and access to local businesses will be maintained throughout the project duration.
Intersection improvements are scheduled to begin this week at the intersection of US 169 & 159th Street.
Beginning this spring, Olathe residents can expect more street maintenance work throughout the city.
