A heartfelt thank you to every caring donor who made our 2013 Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund campaign a tremendous success!  We raised over $132,000, surpassing our goal of $110,000!  This will allow our charities to serve more Olathe children and families in need than ever before!  The Fund has no overhead expenses, allowing 100 percent of donations to directly benefit the following organizations:

Catholic Charities / Children's Shoe Fund / Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
Cypress Recovery / El Centro / Health Partnership Clinic of Johnson County
Johnson County Christmas Bureau / Johnson County Interfaith Hospitality Network
KidsTLC / Marillac Center / Mission Southside / Olathe Public Schools Foundation

Olathe Special Olympics / SAFEHOME / Salvation Army

For more information about our 2013 beneficiaries, please see our Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund brochure.

While our 2013 campaign has come to a close, donations to the Fund are welcome throughout the year!

Checks should be made payable to the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund and sent to: City of Olathe, Office of the Mayor, P. O. Box 768, Olathe, KS 66051-0768, (913) 971-8500.  Donors also have the option of making contributions on line using a credit or debit card.*  Donations are tax-deductible, and all donors will receive an acknowledgement of their contribution.

*  On-line donations are made with a credit/debit card through PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account to donate).  PayPal levies a transaction fee of 2.9% + 30 cents, which will be automatically deducted from your on-line donation.

                                                MAYOR'S PRAYER BREAKFAST

We enjoyed a great time of unity and celebration at the Olathe Mayor's Prayer Breakfast on November 22 at the American Legion.  The Prayer Breakfast is a wonderful and long-standing tradition in our community, and proceeds benefit the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund.
