ARBOR LANDING PARK

A neighborhood meeting was held on Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Olathe Community Center, 1205 E. Kansas City Road.  There were 40 people in attendance at the meeting.  Meeting minutes and notes will be given to the Arbor Landing HOA board.  It is anticipated that the park will begin construction in late 2015 or early 2016 and completed by late summer 2016.

 

MEADOW LANE TRAIL

The City of Olathe Parks and Recreation Department was awarded 2016-2017 Kansas Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) funds through the Active Transportation Programming Committee of the MidAmerica Regional Council (MARC) in the amount of $1,038,000 in July 2014 for the construction of the Meadow Lane Trail.

Design of the trail will take place in 2015 and construction in 2016-17.  The trail will begin just south of the Kansas State Univeristy Bioscience Center on College and run north and east to the Gary Haller Trail accessed off of Ridgeview Road.

Meadow Lane Trail - General Information

 

LAKE OLATHE AND CEDAR LAKE PARK MASTER PLANS

The City of Olathe Parks and Recreation Department is currently working on master plans for Lake Olathe and Cedar Lake Parks.  Confluence, a local landscape architectural firm has been hired to prepare these master plans.
