When can I visit the Center?

What does the rental fee include?
What do the community rooms look like, what features do they have?
The Olathe Community Center features a 3,350 square foot events hall that can be divided into three separate meeting rooms and rented out for business parties, wedding receptions and any related group function. The each room features an HD projector, full audio and visual capabilities, access to the patio and a gorgeous view of Stagecoach Park. One of the community rooms also features a fireplace. The community rooms can be rented out individually, or as a whole, which gives the party private access to the patio.
May I bring in my own catering?
The Olathe Community Center & Heritage Center at Mahaffie are open catering venues. For more information on this please contact the Rental Specialist at 913-971-8753.
When are the Rental Agreement, Deposit and Final Payment due?
What are your policies for cancellation or changing a date?
A non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking; 50% of the rental fee due 120 days prior to event; and final rental fee, add-ons, and security deposit due 30 days prior to event. Failure to meet deadline may result in forfeit of the reservation. Cancellation Policy: Should you cancel your event, refunds are as follows:

119 to 31 days prior to event
Rental deposit and 50% payment
30 days or less prior to event
No refund on any payments
Clients may transfer their original booking date to another available date. One transfer will be allowed per client without any additional fee; however, all additional transfers will be subject to a $25 fee per transfer. A client may not transfer dates within 3 weeks of the scheduled event. The date must be cancelled and rebooked if desired.
